Stuff and Nonsense - 16 Jun 18
Well, this week was fun. The weather was gorgeous, and that’s always good, especially when you have to leave the house… Yeah, it was “back to the doctor time” over here at Phil’s house… So, a trip to the cardiologist’s. No big changes there, and since I’ve been getting out and walking about more and more, I’ve managed to lose another three pounds. Hey, every little bit helps…
Went to the NYC Transit Museum this week; I used to work a couple blocks from there, but never managed to get there… It was pretty cool. Checked out the old trains, and how they built the subway tunnels (lot harder than I thought it was; those guys had some guts) … A nice day trip, and my knees were definitely happier at the end of the day…
All in all, a decent week… I’ll take it!
Let’s see what’s going on in the rest of the world!

PS: Almost forgot; my favorite watch, a Casio databank, that I’ve worn (in one form or another) since the ‘80s, gave up the ghost this week… You’ll be missed, pal…
